One sweet post of saying “Goodbye”

This might be the last reflection that I will post. I’m going to miss the updates and the notifications from this blog. Whatever will happen after this school year, I hope that we will be in the right place because we are all deserving to achieve what we want because we did it by heart. Even if times get hard, we are always there. Patiently finishing all the requirements, helping each other hand in hand.
If someone’s going to ask me what I learned during my senior year, I would answer them with “friendship”.  All the things that I have accomplished, whether with good or bad results, it is because of a friend who’s always there to support, classmates who inspire, teachers who became a model, and most especially: my family who nurtured me with their love and care. Whatever I will be in my future life… If the crowd will be clapping in front of me because of my achievements, I don’t deserve to be alone. All the people who molded me of becoming that person should stay right in front of me. If I am going to leave a trail in this world someday, your efforts and traces of support are included to that achievement. To mention my family, teachers and classmates, friends and everybody who have been in the same way or another; a big THANK YOU to all of you. All the things that we shared will remain in my heart and soul. I will definitely treasure those and keep it as an inspiration to achieve my dreams.
If we are going to compare myself to a tree, I can say that I am luckier than it is. The wind is there to help it sway that makes it more attractive just like what my teachers, friends and family do. When the wind blows very strong, it might destroy the tree and put it into an end but my teachers, friends and family: as they show how strong they are, I am inspired to make the impossible into possible. While we thought that this tree is already useless and we have nothing to do with it, someday, it will produce tiny buds as long as you have the patience and the gift to believe in magic. This shows that there are second chances to everything as long as we are willing and deserving. New chance means new life. There will come a time that the magic that we thought will come into reality.

What a wonderful thought it is that some of the best days of our lives haven’t happened yet. But it is more wonderful to think that I am going to share those best days in the future with you. To all the youths who think that they are useless in this world, prove to everybody that you can do it and inspire yourself and keep in mind that the world will never stop just because you can’t keep up. So, try your best to make something that will live forever.

my dream, my future

What can make my future very successful? Is it about choosing the right course? Choosing what your heart tells you to do? Put them together. Find a course wherein you are comfortable with and wherein we can use our talents and where our heart is in there. I’ll just do what I love and God will be the one to help me in improving my life.
If I will be successful in my future profession, I will go to Paris and make my dreams come true. I will be one of the famous designers that is known not only in my fatherland, but in the whole world. I will be like Michael Sinco, who’s one of the top designers of the celebrities in Hollywood. But of course, who would be very successful without an inspiration? My future husband will be the top businessman in New York. But it’s not about the money, it’s all about the love and he’s my ideal man. We will have up to three children and they will be the luckiest children in the world and we will be their proud parents. I will have my own runway shows featuring my designs.
Even if I will be that successful, I will never forget God because He is the reason why I will be that successful.  I will thank him through donating and making charity works for those who are in need. I am willing to take risks because all I want for my future is to be perfect.

Change: It starts with me

Sometimes, you need to step outside, get some air and remind yourself of who you are and where you want to be. Sometimes, when you get stuck or something is not working out, it can be a good idea to walk away for a while. This doesn’t have to be a literal walking away. It really means disengaging from the “problem” and putting your focus in a different place for a while.
Step back, change focus for a while and you will find that you come back with a fresher, less intense involvement that can often make a huge difference. Surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers, the believers and the thinkers, but most of all; surround yourself with those who see greatness within you, even when you don’t see it yourself.

The moment you’re ready to quit is usually the moment right before the miracle happens. Don’t give up. Always remember that a little change can go a long way.

kannawidan

Our very own province, Ilocos Sur, has rich and spectacular cultures and traditions that we must be proud of.

Tthe Kannawidan Ylocos Festival had already recognized its identity as the prime festival of the province. The festival was launched in 2008 under the leadership of then Governor Deogracias Victor B. Savellano

When the New Year arrives, it brings new ideas and hopes for us to make our lives good to better and better to best.
